I have a Braun multimag Slidescan 4000 that came with Cyberview X software but it appears to be out of date. My new Dell doesn't recognize the scanner when I try to launch the software. There isn't any place to select the scanner.

I've just found your question - I had the same question (I have a SlideScan 4000 too).
It seems that Braun have ended software support, but I've found VueScan Scanner software says it supports the SlideScan 4000. I haven't investigated this software further yet...
I have transferred cyber view x from my old computer to new computer but it does not work. It works on my old computer. I am going to discard my old computer. How do I fix this.
To get scanned photos to appear in CyberView on the monitor, you should ensure that the scanner is properly connected to the computer and that the scanning software (CyberView X) is installed correctly. Then, launch the CyberView X program, go to the scanning options or settings, select the appropriate source (the scanner), and initiate the scanning process. The scanned photos should then be displayed on the monitor within the CyberView X program.
